How would this be "news" at all?

Two countries, both of which (for better or worse) are under major economic sanctions from the U.S. and others, might have a beneficial interest in doing business with one another? Duh. That's the problem with trying to use sanctions as a bludgeon -- once you impose a total ban, you have no other chips with which to bargain. With what do you think we would have threatened Iraq if they were caught doing business with Cuba? It's not like we're just going to waltz in and take over their ... um ... um ... um ...

To some members of the press a link is basically they called and talked sometime in the last six months. Yeah whatever. People at Fox News and a lot of their allied media are just trying anything they can on this story. It is just getting so old. Saddam is out of power, move on. Why doesn't either side of the argument and the media realize that people are wanting to move on to what is next, not trying to justify or critique a decision that was made long ago?
